Today while I was going through some of my favorite blogs I decided that I needed to update my own. I started this blog 3 years ago (wow) and as you can see I have done very little. Now that Blogger has more features and you can learn anything online, I felt that I could make my own little place on the web.

Everyone claims that if they wrote a book about their life they would be rich. My response is to start a reality show based on your life because you can make more money in endorsements.
While I am not so sure about my life being interesting, I consider it to be random and at times ironic. Overall I am just trying to enjoy life and dodge the many curve balls that get thrown at me. However, I love to share my funny mishaps and anything humorous that I witeness. Which lets face it, that happens everyday.
While I am new to blogging I have always enjoyed reading them. So I am finally taking the plunge and have started my own. With that said I think I need to explain the title to my blog which I witnessed in one of the best states in America. I saw this phrase at an airport in Eastern North Carolina right above the doors to exit the airport. A few years ago I would have cracked a joke and made a comment towards Southerns. Now don't get upset...I have matured and changed the way I think which is the reason for this blog. I love the south and many people don't realize what they are missing. Southern hospitality does exists and have helped me to become a better person.
With that said, "Welcome to Southeastern North Carolina" has become a bit of my motto. It may sound odd but it tells you how it is.
